Pittsfield Paintbox Project
Pittsfield Artscape, partnered with Berkshire Money Management, brought more public art to the downtown with the Pittsfield Paintbox Program. The Pittsfield Paintbox Program brings intriguing and vibrant paintings to the streets' utility boxes (load centers). Artists transformed the typically drab electrical boxes, increasing the vibrancy of the artful streetscape. It celebrates local artists, enlivens the streetscape, and discourages vandalism of utility boxes throughout the downtown.
Marshall Street Mural Project
Facilitated through Art About Town and partnered with DownStreet Art's Public Art Mural Project and the City of North Adams, art teacher Christina King was ready to push her ideas and after school program, CAMP (Community Art Mural Project), into motion. This would involve her Greylock Elementary School students, the assistance of local artist, William Oberst, and I to recreate Arnold Printworks onto the pillars under the Veterans Memorial Bridge on Marshall Street.
